I would like to entice you to visit The Closet this weekend, so let me just say, we are filled to the brim...this time of year is like Christmas for The Closet! New arrivals include a Stella McCartney short black swing jacket, a stunning coat from Roland Mouret, gowns by Narcisco Rodriguez and Alberta Ferretti, as well as loads of Manolos. The racks are overflowing with Marc Jacobs, Vince, and Juicy Couture. We have lots of cashmere, amazing boots, and lovely fall dresses. I could go on and on!

Boxes and boxes of your favorite Italian labels...none of that Made in China stuff! We have some great pieces in very small sizes by Marni, Prada, Etro, etc. Also if you are a size 37.5 or 38 you should not wait to snatch up a pair of tweed Prada mary janes or emerald green suede Chloe flats, perfect for fall.

Classic Chanel Tweed Jacket

This one is a Sz 42, so it fits like an American 8 or 10. The best thing about it is that the jacket is lightly lined in a sheer black silk, so it can be worn all year round. It is kinda perfect!

More Pucci!

Look at these colors! The fabric is fine silk jersey, a great classic print, Italian 46. I like that it has sleeves so you can really wear it any time, pair it with some dark brown slouchy boots and a cardigan for early fall or right now with a metallic gold sandal. Take me to Capri!

Doo. Ri Dress!

Doo-Ri Chung is well known in the fashion world for her elegantly draped designs. You may recall she was the winner of the 2006 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund award, however it is rare to see one of her creations here at The Closet. Until now! This dress is size 2 and has a delicate sash and beautiful bubble hem.

Rebecca Taylor Delivery!

Don't want the girls to be left out! We love Rebecca Taylor for her fine leopard prints, flouncy silk skirts, lovely floral dresses, and all around girly, yet slightly punky attitude towards dressing. I often find her pieces to have a decidedly vintage feel, while remaining relevant for today. She is so hard to resist!

Marni Dress

This is a really gorgeous Marni dress...the photo does it no justice. In fact the cut is quite dramatic. It would be perfect for an upcoming graduation or wedding.

We just received a splendid box from one of our best longtime consignors...loads of good labels, from Vivienne Westwood and Maria Cornejo to Dries van Noten and Rozae Nicholas, just to name a few. Also, if you have little feet you might be interested in a really neat pair of Hussein Chalayan tan flats!

I was inspired by the beautiful knits in Rodarte's Fall 2008 show when I chose these tops for display...from left to right: a sheer beaded top from John Galliano, Barbara Who's metallic cardigan, a sweet little cream jacket from Marlene Birger, Dior's super glam knit tank, and my personal favorite, Marc Jacob's take on Little Bo Peep for Louis Vuitton.

We have just received a wonderful consignment of St. John! There are a variety of knit pieces (jackets, suits, skirts, tops, and a perfect black dress) in a nice spring palette of pale blue, aqua, gray, black, and white, with some neat tweed pieces as well.
