So Coco

"I don't understand how a woman can leave the house without fixing herself up a little - if only out of politeness. And then, you never know, maybe that's the day she has a date with destiny. And it's best to be as pretty as possible for destiny.” ~Coco Chanel

I'm dying to see "Coco before Chanel" with Audrey Tatou

In the meantime I'm reading Paul Morand's transcription of Mademoiselle's memoirs "The Allure of Chanel" and wearing lots of stripes. The top above is from last year's cruise collection. The sweater is also Chanel, bags by Coach and Judith Leiber.

The Closet! The Closet is Boston's finest consignment clothing store for men and women, celebrating over 30 years in business. We are located at 175 Newbury Street between Dartmouth and Exeter.

The Closet accepts designer items (by appointment) that are no more than 1 or 2 years old (with some exceptions of course). Merchandise should be seasonal and in excellent condition. Our consignment period is 60 days, sales are split 50/50, and we mail out checks every month! We are a bit particular about what we accept, so please call 617.536.1919 with questions regarding consignment.

The items displayed may only be purchased in store as it is important to us that you are able to see the item in person. Sorry, but we don't ship!
