You might think we would tire of shopping after being surrounded by fashion five days a week, but lucky for us, we're always on the hunt. Whether it's a new store or a new dress, Boston continues to please sartorially. We are super excited to visit JP this Sunday for a spot of vintage shopping at both

Haberdash as well as
Forty South St and

The Closet is Boston's finest consignment clothing store for men and women, celebrating over 30 years in business. We are located at 175 Newbury Street between Dartmouth and Exeter.
The Closet accepts designer items (by appointment) that are no more than 1 or 2 years old (with some exceptions of course). Merchandise should be seasonal and in excellent condition. Our consignment period is 60 days, sales are split 50/50, and we mail out checks every month! We are a bit particular about what we accept, so please call 617.536.1919 with questions regarding consignment.
The items displayed may only be purchased in store as it is important to us that you are able to see the item in person. Sorry, but we don't ship!
