The Closet in Elle Magazine
It isn't often that The Closet gets a mention in the media, let alone in one of the most major fashion publications around, but here we are! (Thanks to Noe for letting us know!) It is nice to be included in a piece about such stylish destinations as the ICA and Bodega! As you all know, The Closet itself is reason enough to take a trip up to Boston, and enjoy a little culture as well.

Spring is here!

The only place I really shop on Newbury Street is The Closet, but every now and then I find myself wandering down to Stel's to see what they've got...and I have to say, the selection is always soooo tempting. I began to notice they were stocking Rogan this past fall...and I'm happy to see they will be carrying a full line come spring. The other night they had a party to celebrate, and the designer, Rogan Gregory was there, along with his ping pong table. It was fun to see some old friends of The Closet and check out the collection. Rogan himself is a big fan of consignment, no surprise there (and it looks like he loves yellow this season too!). If you're lucky and have a good eye, you may come across some pieces from time to time at The Closet as well. Images courtesy of www.rogannyc.com

Here is a nice shot of the current men's window that Rob created...the piece de resistance is obviously the authentic Burberry skateboard...luckily the design team took it easy on the signature plaid, however they did manage to slap a nice large logo on the underside. The trucks are really good too, or so we hear since none of us have dared to test it out.

The Closet is Boston's finest consignment clothing store for men and women, celebrating over 30 years in business. We are located at 175 Newbury Street between Dartmouth and Exeter.
The Closet accepts designer items (by appointment) that are no more than 1 or 2 years old (with some exceptions of course). Merchandise should be seasonal and in excellent condition. Our consignment period is 60 days, sales are split 50/50, and we mail out checks every month! We are a bit particular about what we accept, so please call 617.536.1919 with questions regarding consignment.
The items displayed may only be purchased in store as it is important to us that you are able to see the item in person. Sorry, but we don't ship!
